Maria has always had a soft spot for everything retro, whether it's clothing, music, or ambience. There is even data to prove it: her Spotify age is 95 years.

At some point she signed up for a Lindy Hop course at university, and right from the very first solo jazz steps in the warm-up, she knew she had found a world in which she wanted to stay for the rest of her life.

Since then, she has missed no opportunity to work on her dancing. She has learned both roles, joined the show troupe Hellzapoppin‘ Disaster, and performed at the Tanzfest Basel, ‘Zürich Tanzt’, the Polyball, ‘Is There Hop’ and other local events. While Maria is still constantly learning herself, she can hardly wait to pass on the joy, energy and passion for swing in her classes.
