Since her earliest childhood, movement and music have been important ingredients for her well-being. Contemporary dance in particular gave her a lasting love of dancing. Later, she also discovered step dance and jazz dance, which inspired her and further deepened her motivation to move.
In 2018, shortly before her 40th birthday, she spontaneously decided to take a Lindy Hop class at the swing dance school in her neighbourhood. This experience awakened her curiosity for dancing as a couple. Reacting to each other's initiatives and interpreting swing music together has occupied them ever since. Regular Lindy hop dancing at various workshops, dance festivals or on the social dance floor is not only a physical activity for them, but also a wonderful opportunity to socialise and meet new people.
She has recently started passing on the energy and joy of this cheerful, energetic dance. She emphasises that perfection is not necessary - it's all about lightness and fun. With a self-deprecating approach, she brings humour to her dance classes and encourages others to move freely and share their enthusiasm for dancing. For her, it is important that everyone discovers the joy of dancing, regardless of previous knowledge or ability. A welcoming atmosphere that emphasises laughter and joy is very important to her.
