A \"yes\" is great, a \"no\" is perfectly okay - and both can be said or changed at any time. If you're not sure, just ask nicely. The same applies on the dance floor: communication is king (and queen).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. a dance is a dance<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If someone says \"yes\" to a dance, that doesn't automatically mean there have to be several. Feel free to ask for the next one - but ask. It's not a rejection if it's just one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. physical contact requires sensitivity<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Unintentional physical contact can happen - a quick \"Sorry!\" goes a long way. Dancing with attention and respect prevents misunderstandings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. hygiene is not optional<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You dance with others - often close, often sweaty. A fresh shirt, deodorant and clean hands make the evening more pleasant for everyone. (A change of shirt is not a bad idea, by the way).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. everyone should feel safe<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If you observe something inappropriate or experience it yourself: speak to us or the teachers. Nobody has to put up with this in silence. We take it seriously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. respect is not a freestyle<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether beginner or old hand, leader or follower - everyone deserves the same space. We welcome new faces, different styles and individual forms of expression. Diversity makes the scene come alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The Swing Dance Floor thrives on mutual respect. When everyone treats each other with respect, dancing becomes what it should be: a joyful, free and respectful co-operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for doing your part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div
