After a few basic discofox courses and occasional dancing, it was time for something more and different. Since rock ‘n roll dancing looked too much like floor gymnastics, it became the dance plusminus a little earlier.

Not least because three Glenn Miller CDs had already lost their way into the music collection for some time. The changeover from Rockstep to Triplestep took a little longer than hoped and remained unforgotten.

More than thirteen years later, this has now been automated, as well as smaller and larger excursions to the areas of Balboa, Collegiate Shag, Boogie and Blues have been added. In addition to show and social dancing, DJing as “Johann Waldvogel” became a passion. Against this background, his focus is on social dance and the choice of technique that matches the music – without following the conventions too much.
